Some old news:
Since 2003, as anybody knows by now, Topps has started to reissue the Garbage Pail Kids and the Wacky Packages, quite successfully I might add. The nice surprise ( to me ) was how many GPK and WP fans there still are. Many of them e-mailed me kind words about how much they liked my work. I really appreciate it ...

There is a WONDERFUL COFFEE TABLE BOOK published, called QUANTOONS, with may be 50 or so of my metaphysical illustrations- with scientific explanations by great experts and also texts by me.The book is published by NSTA. and they can be contacted on their web site:

Some newer news:
I am going to have in Summer 2008 (June 16-27) a 10 chapter comic in a german Newspaper (FAZ), called: "A Berliner In New York ".A very biographical story about me coming and living and working in New York.Extremely readable.

BUT the best news are that my Oncologist told me that I have become cancer free, which is a miracle, because the doctors didn't think I would make it...thanks to my fate I am still here.

And what happened to my children book plans?
Well in the meantime, Sam, the skateboarding pink elefant has lost his skateboard and was looking now for a girl friend.He almost found one last monday, but as the week went on she dissolved into a puddle and Sam left town anyway, so nothing really happened.On Thursday the mouse police found Sam and was chasing Sam up and down the nighly alleys. Later somebody saw the police car driving into the canal and that was that.Tomorrow will be another day,mumbled Sam and ordered another cup of peanuts.
